For a unique touch our client chose a special vintage cut of diamond for this classic style engagement ring. A Circular Brilliant cut diamond like this one is what is known as a 'transitional cut', its an older style than the modern Round Brilliant Cut but not quite as old as the Old European Cut, and displays delightful characteristic flashes of refracted colours. We continued the theme with all diamonds in this ring, by using single cuts in the band, and added a hint of scroll work under the setting for that extra bit of detail.
